Never get underpaid! Use PayScale's Salary Calculator.

You do a job online for a company or an individual and you charge a fee. You decide the fee based on the nature of work, technical skill involved and the time taken to complete a work and existing market rate.

Agreed so far?

What if you come to know that for the same work someone else is paying a higher fee? Naturally you will charge the increased fee for the next task you undertake-right?

But how do you find out whether you are getting underpaid?

PayScale comes into the picture. You can utilize the services of PayScale. With this service you can compare your present salary too.

You can key in all the relevant data that included your present job requirements and responsibilities, remuneration and perks etc.

You can also use this service to evaluate a fresh job offer.

PayScale is a market leader in global online compensation data. With the world's largest database of individual employee compensation profiles, PayScale provides an immediate and precise snapshot of the job market.

I think even recruiters will also use this website to know how much they can offer for a particular job.

Selling online made easier.

Yesterday, I met an enterprising person who had just finished school. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she is earning about $300 per month working online for only a few hours a day.

Her name is Bethel and she was also my student once.

I was a bit reluctant to show my curiosity but I think she was shrewd enough to sense that. So, she voluntarily explained about her online business which is obviously thriving.

She told me that she is an affiliate marketer selling several software and tutorials online through her own website. She also has another online shopping mall. She further dwelt in to e-commerce and installed her own shopping cart software combined with high security transaction facility.

Later she also became an affiliate of ashopcommerce.com and now she derives her maximum money by selling this shopping cart.

Ashop Commerce is a world-class provider of shopping cart software, Internet programming and digital imaging who cater toward small to medium sized businesses that are looking to build or simply start their online division of business.

Bethel told me that the shopping cart interface extremely user friendly and glitch free.

Want a good domain name?

I am pleased that I am following up my previous post about the domain names business. Rarely, we get such opportunities to learn more about a topic that we just wrote or heard about.

While selecting domain names for my websites that I had to close because of non-technical abilities, I used to ponder over the options for several days before deciding on one.

Yes, I agree that I am not an expert in such creative matters, but a sudden streak of brilliance will surface occasionally. Had I know about various online tools for getting suggestions for domain names, may be I would have earned some good money from my expired domains or I would not have allowed them to expire at all.

PC names is one good place for webmasters for selecting a domain name. I intend to find more relevant sites.

Get paid for suggesting a domain name.

This is absolutely a creative work. Domain name is a million dollar industry.

We all know that there are people who register several attractive domain names only to resell them. Webmasters even pay up to $1500 per domain if they it is attractive, short and suggestive of the concerned business.

Picky Domains is market place for webmasters to pick a domain and you and I who can suggest a domain for webmasters and get paid.

How it works:

Go to Picky Domains and register for free.

Then browse through the current orders available and suggest several names for a single order as the webmaster’s requirement.

If one of your suggestions is liked by the buyer, he pays $50 to Picky Domains and they pay you $25.

This is fun way to earn money and I read that some people earn a living out of this business.

Nothing is lost here.

Don’t brush away the following news as trivia.
“LostGolfBalls.com routinely sells about 35 million balls each year.”

Why this is not a trivia?
Because of two things:
All those 35 million golf balls are retrieved from golf courses across the U.S. continent.
2. They have teamed up with First Tee, an organization dedicated to promoting character development and life-enhancing values to underprivileged children through the game of golf.

By bagging the exclusive retrieval rights for lost golf balls from more than 2500 golf courses, they contribute notably towards environment protection.

Thus retrieved, they are sorted carefully as per quality and brands and are re-sold as low as $10 per dozen golf balls.
The fact that Lost Golf Balls gives back year-round, recycling balls that would otherwise lie unused on America’s golf courses, made teaming up with The First Tee a natural fit. The non-profit organization’s mission has since been expanded to include The First Tee Nine Core Values, which include a focus on honesty, integrity and sportsmanship.
Professional as well amateur golfers depend upon Lost Golf Balls for all their golfing needs that include gloves, golf cart covers, sunglasses etc.

Even though Titleist golf balls are the most sought after golf balls, Lost Golf Balls also sells other brands such as Nike, TopFlite, Wilson, Pinnacle, and Callaway.

I know many of you will visit lostgolfballs.com to buy used golf balls; for those of you who would like to know more about the First Tee, please visit Thefirsttee.com.
