I have been terribly wrong to have assumed that the days of GPT (get paid to) are gone. They are very much alive though you don't see them in herds anymore.
Another important point that is revealed to me is, the GPT sites whose names I remember since I first heard of them a few years before are genuine and paying. That is why they stay afloat which is a rare trait among GPt sites.
For example, the 'BUX' sites have been finding support from hundreds online income opportunity seekers.
Here are some of them that seemed to be paying to simply view advertisements online:

Some of them even pay 2 cents per viewing!
