Nokia invites you to Bangalore!

Some people are easy to motivate while most have a closed mind to receive fresh ideas. But I don’t blame them. Such category of people requires a different kind of motivation; mere talk, however sincere it may be, won’t penetrate their mind and arouse their interest.

I got an idea! I was informed of a mobile application developers conference organized by Forum Nokia in Bangalore on 20th January, 2009 at Trinity, Taj Residency.

Why don’t leading engineering colleges pick out the interested future IT engineers and send them to attend this Bangalore Conference where they can meet the best minds in this industry? This would give them a rare chance to interact with the peers in mobile application industry, submit their innovative mobile applications ideas.

Ah, yes, the aspiring IT engineers will have diverse interest in mobile application development and that’s why there are different sessions in the conference addressing different modules in the same industry.

Of the three different sessions, I have some input for the conference participants for the ‘Technology Showcase’ session where one can speak out loudly on his dreams without any inhibition.

For them, I would request them to explore the possibilities of getting more people use the mobile platform for social networking. I have this interesting statistics for them in this regard: “Orange users access a staggering 166 million pages of social networking websites on their mobiles every month.”

I am forwarding this blog post to a few of my ex-students who are currently studying IT and Computer Engineering.
